For youth program we arrange group air travel between San Francisco
International Airport (SFO) and Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) at the
beginning and ending dates of each session. SLG will assist students with
luggage and check-in at SFO, and escort on the plane. The host organization will
greet students at the airport. It is recommend that students from the U.S. join
the group travel whenever possible. Students who arrange their own flights from
other parts of the U.S. may also stopover and join us in San Francisco.
Traveling in a group will help alleviate anxiety and culture shock, which is
often experienced when traveling to a different country. Those who do not
participate in the San Francisco stopover are responsible for making their own
way to camp by the scheduled program start date.
