We arrange escorted air travel between San Francisco
International Airport (SFO) and Beijing International Airport (PEK) at the
beginning and ending dates of each session. SLG will assist students with
luggage and check-in at SFO, and accompany them on the plane to Beijing. Another
agent will greet the students at the Beijing International Airport and arrange
transportation to the campus. It is recommend that students from the U.S. join
the escorted travel whenever possible. Students who provide their own
transportation may also participate in the San Francisco stopover. Traveling in
a group will help alleviate anxiety and culture shock, which is often
experienced when traveling to a different country. Those who do not wish to
participate in the San Francisco stopover are responsible for making their own
way to campus by the scheduled program start date.
