This is an immersion language course that is designed to immerse your child so deeply in the language and the culture for the time they are there that they will literally live the language and customs of China and that this will help them to learn faster. While you cannot expect your child to come home fluent in Chinese with immersion training he will learn more than a traditional class. Summer camps in China consist of 3 weeks to 3 months depending on the age of your child, and the class he takes. Each class is planned to focus around one area and one aspect of Chinese culture and history, in this way if your child attends the camps more than once his experience will be just as great the second time around as it was the first.

During the time your child is in camp they will study the language both spoken and written for 22-25 hours a week. During the rest of the time they will engage in activities that will reinforce the language they are learning such as learning the written form and spending time with local that will help them practice the language skills they have learned. Not all of their summer camp will be spent learning the language however, there are plenty of activities to captivate their minds, and allow them to grow as people that are part of a global society.
